Interested In Joining Venturing?

Young men and women are invited to join Venturing, a fun, co-ed outdoor program within Scouting.  To become a Venturer, you must be at least 14 years old, or 13 years old and have completed eighth grade.  The maximum age for a youth Venturer is under 21 years of age.

Boy Scouts who meet the minimum age requirements may register with a Venturing Crew and maintain registration in both programs.  In fact, many Troops have created a Venturing Crew to create a unique and exciting experience for their older boys.  Boy Scouts who register as Venturers can continue to earn advancements with their Troop, while also working on the Venturing advancement program.

To find out more about Venturing, to form a Crew, or to find a Crew in your area, contact your District Executive or call the Twin Rivers Council Service Center at (518) 869-6436.
