The “Community Safety” Area will offer instruction in first aid and emergency response skills.  Scouts will have the opportunity to complete the FIRST AID, SAFETY, and EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS merit badges with trained and certified counselors.  In addition to instruction from members of RSR’s own staff (which includes certified EMTs and volunteer firemen), we hope to arrange visits from members of local fire, ambulance, and police departments to share their knowledge and experience and to answer questions about their chosen fields.
